Terms and Conditions

  1. BuySpringfieldArmory.com is owned and operated by Osage County Guns. We are a Springfield Armory dealer but are otherwise not affiliated with Springfield Armory.
  2. Purchase Conditions
    1. All pistols must be shipped to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder. We cannot and will not ship firearms to anyone but a FFL. We must receive the receiving dealer’s FFL by fax (314-558-8429) or email (help@osagecountyguns.com). Be sure to have your receiving dealer include your name and the model of firearm you purchased with his FFL.
    2. You must be 21 years of age to purchase a handgun. If you purchase a handgun and you are not 21, it cannot be transferred to you and you may incur additional shipping expenses from your receiving dealer. You are also subject to a restocking fee in this case.
    3. Per Massachusetts state law, no handguns can be shipped into the state – handgun orders will have to be canceled if the state in which it is to be transferred is Massachusetts.
    4. Per California state law, all handguns shipped to California must be on the approved handgun list (http://certguns.doj.ca.gov/) and cannot ship with magazines with capacities larger than 10rd.
    5. Per New York state law,  firearm magazines cannot have more than 10rd capacity. If you purchase a firearm with magazine capacity of more than 10 rounds, the firearm will be shipped without the magazines.
    6. Per Hawaii state law, no firearm can have a magazine capacity greater than 10 rounds. If you purchase a firearm with magazine capacity of more than 10 rounds, the firearm will be shipped without the magazines.
  3. Payment Options
    1. We accept credit cards, debit cards, cashier’s checks and money orders, and personal checks. Personal checks are held 10 business days to clear our bank before we can ship your product.
  4. Shipping
    1. Shipping is based on a table rate. The rates are as follows:
      1. $0 to 49.98 = $8.95 S&H
      2. $49.99 to 99.98 = $12.95 S&H
      3. $99.99 to 199.98 = $14.95 S&H
      4. $199.99 to 599.99 = $18.99 S&H
      5. $600.00 to 1,599.99 = $35.00 S&H
      6. $1,600 to 1,999.99 = $45.00 S&H
      7. $2,000 to $2,499.99 = $55.00 S&H
      8. $2,500 to 2,999.99 = $65.00 S&H
      9. $3,000 to 3,999.99 = $75.00 S&H
      10. $4,000 to 4,999.99 = $100.00 S&H
      11. $5,000 to 5,999.99 = $125.00 S&H
      12. $6,000 and up = $150.00 S&H
    2. Insurance is optional on pistol purchases and is $1.50 per hundred dollars.
    3. If you live in Missouri, your receiving dealer will need to provide a tax exemption form or we will need to collect 5.975% sales tax on the purchase.
    4. We ship all pistols via USPS flat rate. Rifles are shipped via UPS. Smaller packages may be shipped via UPS or USPS.
    5. We ship most pistols the business day following the receipt of your receiving dealer’s FFL and payment. Rifles will also ship within one business day of receipt of payment and FFL. On occasion, we can ship the rifle on the same day of receipt of payment and FFL if our UPS pickup has not yet been made.
    6. Shipping tracking numbers are not always available. If a tracking number is available for an order, it will be sent to the email address (entered during checkout) after the item has shipped.
    7. If you need expedited shipping, please contact us by email or phone.
    8. If your receiving dealer requires your pistol to be shipped via UPS, it must be shipped overnight per UPS regulations. Overnight shipping and handling charges are $75. Rifles may be more (or less) depending on where you are located.
  5. Returns
    1. Returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
    2. Our standard return period is 14 days from time of purchase.
    3. We cannot accept returns for opened products where the packaging has been damaged.
    4. If an item is defective, it should be sent to the manufacturer for replacement (if under warranty).
    5. If you purchase a firearm and find a defect after it has been registered to you by your receiving dealer, it must be shipped to the manufacturer for repair.

Pistol Purchase Process

The process for purchasing Springfield Armory guns online is relatively simple.

1. First, you will call us and we’ll complete the purchase transaction. We accept credit cards, personal checks**, cashier’s checks, or postal money orders (Credit cards and money orders are the best methods of payment to expedite shipping).

2. Next you will locate a federally licensed firearms dealer in your area and have them email or fax a copy of their Federal Firearms License (FFL) to us. Our email for FFL’s is help@osagecountyguns.com and our fax number is 314-558-8429. Be sure your receiving dealer includes your name and model of pistol being purchased with his FFL to help expedite shipping and eliminate confusion.

3. We will ship the pistol to your local dealer that send their FFL. The local dealer will register the pistol to you and you’re ready to go. Note that in some states, a waiting period may be required by law. You’ll want to discuss any statewide regulations with your local dealer. Additionally, there is typically a nominal transfer fee charged by your receiving dealer to cover the cost of handling the paperwork for registration.
