More California Legal M1A Models Available
We have been continually expanding our selection of California legal M1A models. Various states have restrictions limiting the legality of various handguns and rifles. California limits pistols and rifles to magazine capacities of no more than 10 rounds. They must also have a muzzle break instead of a flash hider.
Below are photos of the California legal muzzle break and the California illegal flash suppressor:
The most recent California Legal M1A that we received is the M1A Loaded MA9826CA. The M1A Standard, Loaded, Super Match, and National Match models will all have the CA designation after the model number indicating that it is CA approved. All models in the Socom II, Socom 16, and Scout Squad groups are legal in California because they have the proper muzzle break and 10rd magazine.

You guys have one hell of a selection of Springfield M1A rifles… Are they really all in stock? I’ve looked at a lot of stores and they show the gun as being available but if you call and ask them, they say that you have to order it.
I’ve got a few Springfield’s but I don’t have to deal with the California laws since I’m in Arizona…
We do actually have all of those rifles in stock. On each product page there will be a stock status on the left under the price. If the item is in stock it will say so and the same goes for if it is out of stock. We have somewhere between 55 and 75 Springfield M1A’s at any given time. We generally have every model either in stock or on back order.
You’re a lot better off living in AZ versus California when it comes to the gun laws. California has some pretty strict laws and there are many handguns that aren’t approved in the state. I’m guessing that only about a third of the Springfield M1A line is actually legal in California.
