Things have been pretty quiet around here lately with Springfield Armory. The factory seems to have a frame shortage with 1911 frames and as a result, 1911 availability has been pretty slim. We just received a batch of 1911 Mil-Spec Stainless PB9151 models and we’ve got them in stock in the store. We’re starting to [...]
We are continually working to expand our inventory and availability of Springfield M1A models. We just received the Springfield M21 Tactical with adjustable walnut stock and stainless steel Krieger barrel. The SA9131 M21 Tactical is much like the M1A Super Match but with some upgrades.
In addition to the Krieger barrel, the M21 Tactical has a 2 stage military trigger match tuned to 4.5 – 5 lbs and National match front sight and national match hooded aperture rear sight.

Springfield released a new 1911 model last month called the range officer. This 1911 is competition ready out of the box. We have full specs and photos and they are available for sale / order.

We recently had an inquiry regarding differences between the Springfield M1A Loaded models and Springfield M1A National Match models. When you look at the spec sheets for these two series’ of rifles, the appear to have very similar components.

Both M1A Loaded and M1A National Match have a National Match medium weight, premium air gauged barrel, a 2 stage military trigger tuned to 4.5 to 5.0 lbs, similar stocks, etc.
The Springfield Armory PX9628LP is called the Loaded Long Slide. This is a Loaded 1911 with an extended length slide/barrel. The Loaded Long Slide has a 6″ stainless steel bull barrel. These extremely accurate target 1911′s have adjustable rear sights and a fixed front sight.
The PX9628LP is a very popular model among target shooters and Springfield Armory produces very few of them. We have had them backordered for a solid year and only just received a couple.
See detailed photos of the PX9628LP below and see specs, pricing, and availability in our online store. These can be purchased online from us and shipped right to your receiving dealer.
We just received another new model and have made it available in our online store. The Springfield M1A Super Match (SA9104) is a beautiful M1A. The SA9804 has a black McMillan fiberglass stock and all the Super Match upgrades.

We have added a new Springfield Armory 1911 to our store – the PX9161LP Loaded Ultra Compact Stainless. This model has a 3.5″ barrel, tritium night sights (combat style rear sights), Cocobolo hardwood grips, and a stainless / matte stainless finish.
See detailed photos of the PX9161LP below or view full specs, availability and pricing in our store.

We have one of the more hard to find Springfield Armory 1911′s back in stock – the PX9105MLP (Full Size Operator). This model has tritium night sights and a low profile combat rear sight, Pachmayr wraparound grips, an ambidextrous safety, forged steel slide and barrel, and an olive drab Armory Kote frame.
The PX9105MLP has been one of the most difficult Springfield 1911 models to get our hands on. The demand for these models is quite high and for some reason, the factory just isn’t producing all that many.
